HV cells are charged to 4.35V instead of 4.2V, so the pack is rated 22.8V nominal and reaches 26.1V when fully charged. That gives a little more usable energy from the same footprint — Tattu quotes up to 15% extra capacity over 4.2V cells — which is what makes HV packs a good match for long-range and cinematic builds where every extra minute counts.

For the full benefit, yes: set your charger to LiHV 6S (4.35V per cell, 26.1V end voltage). A charger without HV mode will stop at 25.2V, which is safe but leaves part of the pack’s capacity unused. Never select HV mode for a standard 4.2V LiPo, and store this pack at 3.80–3.85V per cell rather than leaving it fully charged.

Most 6S FPV ESCs are built with enough headroom, but check the voltage rating of your ESC and any BEC or regulator before you plug in — a full HV pack sits about 0.9V above a full standard 6S pack. You should also reset your OSD voltage alarm and low-battery warning, otherwise they will trigger in the first minute of every flight.

It is aimed at larger 6S builds — long-range and cinematic FPV, and 5–7 inch platforms set up for endurance rather than minimum weight. At about 685g it is a pack you mount well forward and balance the frame around, so check the published H × W × L against your battery bay and allow 5–10mm of clearance for straps and wiring.

XT90S is the anti-spark version of XT90: a resistor inside the connector pre-charges your ESC capacitors, so you don’t get the loud pop or pitted contacts when you connect a 6S pack — a difference you notice more on HV packs, which sit at a higher voltage. It plugs straight into a standard XT90 male plug, so no adapter is needed.

There is no single number — flight time depends on all-up weight, prop and motor efficiency, throttle style, wind, payload and the cell voltage you land at. The reliable method is to log mAh consumed against your timer over a few normal flights, then set the timer so you land with 20–25% left in the pack. On an HV pack, voltage-based guessing is less useful because the voltage stays higher for longer, so trust mAh telemetry instead.
